Laduuuuma offers a potable water delivery service, potable water is stored water suitable for human consumption. Clients requiring the potable water delivery service in the Durban area can contact us to book a delivery time slot.

Potable water is for drinking, bathing, washing dishes and utensils. Potable water is for any purpose that results in the ingestion of water or for when water comes into contact with the skin. When using the Laduuuuma potable water delivery service, it is vital that the clients water tanks for storing potable water conform to safety standards so that the potable water stored is maintained and continues to be safe for drinking. 

A client utilizing the potable water delivery service assumes all risk & responsibility for the potable water purchased after delivery. Once the potable water delivery has occurred, the ownership of the water and all risks associated with consumption of the potable water pass to the Client. Laduuuuma staff will test the potable water prior to delivery.

It is essential that clients understand that contamination can occur during potable water storage and understand that it is their responsibility to ensure the water continues to be safe for human consumption.

Water is delivered in a 1000 L tank on the back of a bakkie or with a 5000 L tank on a 8 ton truck.

Water prices are excl VAT & delivery charges. 4051 postcode is free delivery for 2024.

To Book your Order

Once the booking is received, you will be given an available delivery time.

A non refundable 50% deposit secures the booking.  Send POP to 07414 69330 or info@laduuuuma.com

Delivery Preparation

Once the POP is received, Laduuuuma will start to fill the tank.

There is no refund if the potable water delivery is canceled during the prep time.

You will receive a message when the delivery is on route.

Payment

Invoice will be done when the potable water order is booked. 50% non refundable deposit paid for the preparation to commence.

50% final payment due when delivery reaches destination.

Payment is made prior to commencement of filling tanks. POP to same contacts.

Cancellation & Delay Policy

50% cancellation fee applicable after the potable water delivery order is accepted. Additionally if no client is available on site at time of delivery. 100% of the invoice is due.

To Note

It is essential to notify Kiff Hydrations at the time of booking the potable water delivery order if:

If access limits for an 8T truck/ double axle entering the premises. Pumping up more than two stories. Any private road or access restrictions, eg housing estate.

If more than 50 m of pipe is required. 

The client takes responsibility for damages caused when the truck is driven on the property.

No Cash to be given to drivers without a receipt book & prior approval.

Water Types, Safety & Risk

Potable water is stored water suitable for human consumption. Potable water is for drinking, bathing, washing dishes and utensils. Potable water is for any purpose that results in the ingestion of water or for when water comes into contact with the skin.

It is vital that water tanks storing potable water conform to safety standards so that water stored is safe for drinking.

The Client assumes all risk & responsibility for the water purchased.

Once delivery has occurred, the ownership of the water and all risks associated with consumption of the water pass to the Client.

It is essential that clients understand that contamination can occur during storage and understand that it is their responsibility to ensure the water continues to be safe for human consumption.

Non-potable water is not appropriate for human consumption & human contact:

Uses include plumbing, gardening applications, washing machine water, toilet and urinal flushing.

Non-potable water tanks are unsafe for collecting water for consumption purposes.

The non potable water is clean run off water that has not been treated.

The Client indemnifies Laduuuuma for any misuse or human consumption  that may result from the use of this water.

Access

The Customer shall ensure clear and free access to the delivery site  at all times to enable safe delivery of the potable water.

The Seller shall not be liable for any loss or damage to the site, including, without limitation, damage to pathways, driveways, concrete, paved or grass areas.

Site Storage Tanks

Potable water delivered to the client is safe at the time of delivery, to maintain the safety and quality of the water, the client must ensure the environment of the storage tanks is fit for purpose and that the water is safe to drink after storage.

The Customer acknowledges that where possible, any tank storing the Goods should be positioned in a shaded area and it is recommended the tank is painted a light colour to minimize loss of water through evaporation.

Queries and Complaints

In order to resolve any issue, complaints must be submitted to sa@laduuuuma.com within 7 days of delivery.

We cannot entertain any queries beyond this time.
